Prepare the base

  1. Add the whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract and salt to a mixing bowl.

  2. Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved and the base is smooth.

Freeze and spin

  1. Pour the mixture into a Ninja CREAMi pint, without exceeding the MAX FILL line.

  2. Close with the storage lid and freeze flat for 24 hours.

  3. Once fully frozen, run the ICE CREAM program.

  4. If the texture is powdery or crumbly after the first cycle, run RE-SPIN.

Still not right after re-spinning? See how to fix the texture .

Prepare the mix-ins

  1. Break the Oreo cookies into small, irregular pieces and keep them covered at room temperature.

  2. Make a hole about 4 cm wide down the center of the ice cream, add the Oreo pieces and run the MIX-IN program.

Serve

  1. Serve the desired amount of ice cream in a glass or any other container of your choice.

  2. Drizzle the ice cream with chocolate sauce.

  3. Mix in the sauce to your liking.

  4. Enjoy!

Storing leftovers

Flatten any remaining ice cream to level the surface before returning the pint to the freezer. This will make the next spin easier and reduce unnecessary strain on the machine. Learn more about after-serving habits.

Tips

  • Keep all of the cookies out of the base so the vanilla flavor and pale color remain distinct.
  • Break the cookies into small pieces rather than fine crumbs so both creme filling and chocolate biscuit remain noticeable after mixing.
  • Serve immediately after the MIX-IN cycle for the softest, most McFlurry-like texture.
  • Use a thick chocolate sauce at room temperature so it drizzles smoothly over the ice cream without making it runny.
  • Oreo also pairs well with caramel sauce. You can use it in place of the chocolate sauce.
