Storing leftovers
Flatten any remaining ice cream to level the surface before returning the pint to the freezer. This will make the next spin easier and reduce unnecessary strain on the machine. Learn more about after-serving habits.
Tips
- Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for the best flavor.
- For a smoother sorbet, strain the mixture before freezing, especially if your strawberries have many seeds.
- For a stronger basil note, infuse the leaves for 15 minutes instead of 10.
- If the strawberries are very sweet, reduce the sugar by 5 to 10 g.
- Sugar can be replaced by 45 g honey.
